Personally, I can't get myself from not comparing the HBO 24/7 and the Fight Camp 360. I believe that the latter lacks some sort of 'substance' that will make us fans anticipate or asks for more of the episode. But maybe it just me, I am expecting too much from the series. Is Mosley Can Really KO Pacquiao?

It seems that nobody is believing that Shane Mosley can beat Manny Pacquiao despite his claim and his performance during his training in Big Bear California. In an interview, he said that he can knock out Pacquiao on the 7th round of their welterweight match on May 7, 2011. He said that the Filipino pound for pound champion can get a beating and bruises on the early rounds then will break down on the 7th.

Meanwhile, Freddi Roach and the rest of Pacquiao team believe that the result of the Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight will be a knock out and their fighter will surely stand as victorious on this match. They predicted that Mosley will only reach up to 6th round. This shows on the sparring sessions of Manny with other undefeated welterweight boxers like Shawn Porter who he knocked out on the first week of their training and Karim Mayfield who is known for being a Mosley clone.

Its a bash of two welterweight boxers and both are claiming that they will definitely give both bruises and a big fight of their lives.

IMHO, I think Manny Pacquiao will win this match not because I like the guy's attitude towards his boxing career but because I believe his speed and strength is too much for the oldies like Mosley. As of today, I can't see anybody that can handle this kind of strength, even Mayweather. But I still want to see JMM to fight him for the 3rd time and disprove his claim that he beaten Manny twice. Well let see if Bob Arum agrees for a Marquez vs. Pacquiao 3 later. For the meantime, let us watch Pacquiao vs. Mosley online together.

Why Manny Pacquiao is Crowd's Favorite and Not Mosley On this Match?

In this boxing event between two welterweight fighters, Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines and Shane Mosley of the United States, the Filipino champion and a congressman in his country - Pacquiao is still the crowd's favorite - you can see the evidence from different polls online or offline, check out mine on the sidebar of this blog. Despite the fact that the American boxer was known for having an impressive boxing career and record of 46-6-1.

Here are the reasons why Pacman is the crowd's favorite and not Sugar Shane - IMHO.

People see victories not losses. Pacman won his past several fights making him to top the ranking of pound for pound ladder. Meanwhile, Shane got lost his previous fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and draw against Mora - making him to leave a not so nice impression for boxing fans.
They see him as very old and slow and can't keep up with the fast and furious offenses of much younger opponent.
He already lost his shine because of his age and people believe that he should retire.
Pacquiao is really stronger than him in any angle they look. Even the guy that beats him dock him for several times because of fear of loosing.

Why I think that Mosley might have a chance?

Well one thing that I see is that Mosley is still strong despite his age. I see Manny as not really focus but interrupted and distracted which might cause a failure of his training. Mosley got still that strong push to beat the younger opponent which makes him very determined to win. Pacquiao is a mine of gold and his shine is enough for Mosley to train much harder just to harvest the lucrative triump.

Last Friday, it was reported in leading sports newspapers around the web regarding the closing of the the deal between Bob Arum and Showtime/CBS in handling the Pacquiao-Mosley fight on May 7, 2011. It is good news for Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley because this will only mean that they will be promoted by the number one channel in the US which got a much great viewer's reach compare to the previous handler of their previous fights (i.e. HBO).

Things are really happening great for Pacquiao vs Mosley. Imagine, CBS and Showtime will join forces to give the welterweight match a prime time slot in ads which will surely gain millions of followers all over the country.

Aside from that a documentary series will also be produced just for the boxing event just as the same as the award winning sports series HBO 24/7.

Whew, this will surely great and I hope that this "clash of welterweight titans" will make a real mark to the history boxing of the world. I am counting on that!

Mosley Assures Someone Will Go Down on Pacquiao vs. Mosley Match

"Sugar" Shane Mosley stated in an interview that the Pacquiao vs. Mosley match on May 2011 will be considered to become the fight of the year and because both of them are using almost the same fighting style, he believe that someone will definitely go down and kiss the canvass. This is the reason why he'll be practicing for 6 weeks in the Big Bear mountains of California so that he'll be back in good shape as the same he was when he defeated Oscar Dela Hoya and Antonio Margarito.

"It's going to be a real test of the mind. With the way we both fight, it will surely end in a knockout." he added in an interview.

The Pacquiao vs. Mosley welterweight match will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 7th of May 2011. There's no official announcement yet on who will be the boxers that will be part of the undercard matches on the fight night.

The Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight will be promoted by the Top Rank Promotions where Bob Arum is the CEO in a welterweight limit of 147 pounds. Mosley was the guy chosen among the candidate field to fight Pacquiao that included lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez and welterweight champion Andre Berto. Arum presented the list to the Filipino champ after consulting with Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, and Top Rank matchmaker Bruce Trampler.

There's a lot of people in the boxing industry that believed that Marquez, who battled Pacquiao to a draw in 2004 and lost a narrow decision to the Filipino in 2008, is the better opponent for the champ. However, Arum consulted people who are non-boxing fans and he believed that without a question that Shane Mosley is at the head of the pack. "I know there were some issues within the boxing community that maybe Marquez was more deserving. But people don't know Marquez, and even fewer know Berto. Their Q rating doesn't resonate. To everyone I talk to around the world, it's always Mosley." he added on an interview with Sports Illustrated, CNN.

Meanwhile, Mayweather, can't commit to fight Manny Pacquiao because of some legal issues he is facing which is due in court next month to face four felony charges stemming from a domestic incident in September 2010.
